How to get here

Val di Pozzo is in the Comune of Subbiano, in the province of Arezzo. We can arrange collection from Subbiano train station or the local bus stop  if you are arriving by public transport. If you’re travelling by car, here are some directions:

Coming from Arezzo or the A1 motorway, you’ll need to head towards Subbiano on the main road S 71. Just after the last house in Subbiano turn right up the hill towards Falciano/ Anghiari. You pass through the hamlet of Falciano, and then after about 3 km take a turning on the left towards Alpe di Catenaia (at a brown signpost showing the “green trees” symbol). After a scenic couple of kilometres driving along the ridge you will see an unpaved road to your left at the  Tre Fonti picnic area. Take this road and follow it downhill, crossing a small bridge and passing a roadside shrine, for a further 2.5 km until you reach Val di Pozzo. The road is unsurfaced and without road markings so it is advisable to come in a suitable vehicle and arrive in daylight.
